Appendix E - HVAC Modeling

The Home Energy Saver HVAC use is calculated using the DOE-2 energy simulation model. The attachments below describe the use of DOE-2 for HVAC modeling within the Home Energy Saver. DOE2.a contains the report, DOE2.b contains the tables, HES System Curves contains all the system curves used, and HES Template.inp is the BDL (Building Description Language) input file template.
